Well, it was time. I have a NEW BLOGSITE!!!

I wanted a blog that was custom to my brand. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful support team around me who made this possible. Thanks to my husband, family and friends for putting up with my countless "does this look ok... alright... now how about this?" but most of all, thank you Dan for making my new blog a reality :)

Courtney and Cole - Married!

Pouliot...little pool big yacht... That is how Courtney told me to remember the last name of her best friend, the man of her dreams, the man she was going to marry.

The wedding day of Courtney and Cole was amazing. This is the second wedding I have done at a parent’s home and the attention to detail was nothing less than perfect. Cole's parents were already working on the yard when we did their engagement session back in February!

There is no better time to learn how to tie a tie than on your wedding day :)

Courtney and Cole had their first look at a near by covered bridge, it was the perfect spot for them to share this moment together before the ceremony.

Courtney can bust out the sass on a moments notice! I loved it!!!

So my camera did somethin funky with this photo of the cake table but I actually really like how it turned out.

Sarah and Cedar - Engaged!

Sarah is athletic. Very athletic. I have known her since high school and as far back as I remember, she has kicked butt at any sport she try's... I hear you shaking your head Sarah...but it is true!

A while back a friend recruited 'this guy' to come play indoor soccer for their team and Sarah had no idea that that day, that game, she would meet her future husband.

Sarah and Cedar are an amazing couple. They didn't know each other as children but they hold that kind of love for each other, that school ground, I'm gonna push you down cause I like you, kind of love. They are playful with each other, supportive and fun. Although... sorry Cedar, I do think Sarah could take you... just sayin.

Going into this shoot, knowing Sarah before hand, I expected all of the shots to look like the one below. She always makes a goofy, cute face for the camera! I was pleasantly surprised that she rocked some serious rawr in a few of the following though!

Summer and Jeff - A wedding in Prineville Oregon

Summer and Jeff are an amazing couple. They both live in Las Vegas and traveled to Jeff's dad's vacation home in Oregon for their wedding. Everything was so thought out and everyone was working so hard to make this day one Summer and Jeff would never forget! It was awesome being there before and seeing all of the last minute details come together.

SUCH a beautiful location!

Summer and Jeff's first look, before all the craziness starts I recommend to my couples they take a moment to see each other before the ceremony. Such a priceless moment!

Michelle and I had such an amazing time capturing your wedding! Thank you so so so much for allowing us to hang out, eat yummy chicken and be silly with you. I hope your time at Lake Tahoe was as memorable as your wedding day!

I went out to the most beautiful property on Sunday to shoot Courtney and Cole's engagement session. We had a blast tromping around in the mud! Good thing we had Winnie to lead us :)

Lisa and Devin's Wedding!

Lisa and Devin share a kind of love for each other that couples hope for, wish for and pray for. I was overcome with chills so many times just by witnessing the way they looked at each other! I will admit I even had to wipe away a tear or two due to this amazing couple.

Lisa and Devin, I was honored to document your wedding day and thank you for being such awesome clients!!!

Lisa and Devin opted to see each other before the wedding. I think this is such a smart choice for a bride and groom! It is a moment they share all alone, a moment to truly take it all in, together.

Gettin goofy! I loved how natural Lisa and Devin were. They were laughing and smiling the entire day!

Lisa's wedding dress had pieces from her grandmother's dress sewn in. It was so touching to see how happy it made her :)

Lisa lives in China and had this AMAZING jacket made for her there. Devin also had his suit custom made while he was in China with Lisa. They looked so great!

Lisa and her dad busted a move on the father/daughter dance! It was a choreographed number none of the guests will soon forget!

It's been a while!

Man... what a busy time for me and Brandon! We have been in our new house for about a month now and we are 'almost' done with all the painting! We are steadily planning the wedding too. It is so fun being engaged! Now I have a new understanding for all my brides :)

I spent the day with good friends on mine Rachel, Zack and their new baby girl Hannah. She is 6 days old and so precious!

A bridal session in the forest!

A while back I got to trample around the forest with Nikki... in her wedding dress!

Nikki and I have been friends for as long as we both can remember. From little girl piano recitals to high school, we saw each other threw it all. We had such a blast catching up on old times, I think we laughed more than we even took photos!

I am so glad we reconnected Nikki, you turned from a beautiful girl into a beautiful woman :)

Hillary's Senior Photos!

I got to spend my Saturday with an awesome girl!

Hillary is so full of life! The whole day we talked about her goals and ambitions, her sports and her family. Hillary is taking all kinds of classes to better her in college and I know this girl is gonna kick butt in culinary school! She has a super supportive family who are always there rooting her on at volleyball games and in life. She made my job easy...just look at that smile!

I am glad I got to meet you Hill, thanks for being silly with me!

Randi and Josh met when they were to young to know what love was. Over the years they were to shy to even talk to one another. Good thing fate has a way of working things out because they ended up together, madly in love and have a precious little boy on the way, who I can't wait to meet!

Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day Randi and Josh, it was so beautiful!

The Hadders!

It was getting late and she still wasn't there. Casey sat at the table in Red Robin with a single red rose waiting for his blind date to arrive. The waitresses were swooning over him, this poor sweet guy was being stood up!

That is how the story of Mackenzie and Casey began...Mackenzie was out on another date and stood up her future husband! Thank goodness he gave her another chance, they went out to dinner the next night and have been attached at the hip ever since.

Watching Casey and Mackenzie get married was such a joy! They share such a deep love for each other and their daughter. It was a beautiful day and I couldn't have asked to capture a more beautiful couple!

Hope you guys are having a blast in Hawaii!

In Hawaiian tradition the man moves the woman's flower from the right side to the left, this indicates she is officially taken!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to go to a photography seminar in Seattle. It was such an intimidating/wonderful learning experience! 8 months in...

I gave myself a year to get all of my primary business needs taken care of and I did just that! I have my name, logo, business cards and a website! Last on the list was creating a blog, so here I go! :)

I am going to my first photography seminar in Seattle next month and I could not be MORE excited about it!!! I will get the opportunity to meet with other west coast photographers and have lots of connections. I am signed up for four shoots and I am soooo stoked to get them in my portfolio for all of you to see!
